Henry Beckett Gilbert, native Texan, surprised us at home with a swift and healthy birth, at 1:59am, June 28, 2008, on Troy's 29th birthday! Our wonderful doula, April, some neighborhood firemen and women, and two EMTs were all in attendance. His big sister, Georgia Jane, slept through the whole thing. After a short hospital stay, we are now happy to be home and looking forward to introducing our sweet boy to our friends and family.
